A prolific researcher and academician, Dr. Arshad Ali is the Executive Director of Higher Education Commission (HEC). He never fails to impress us with his integrity, energy, enthusiasm and a sense of commitment that he exudes. He won the Pride of Performance award owing to his creative, strategic thinking and academic leadership skills over 33 years association with academics and research. Dr. Arshad has initiated research collaboration with Centre for European Nuclear Research (CERN), Switzerland and earned the Associate Institute status of CMS-CERN for NUST. He has actively been working on various research projects with Stanford USA, Caltech USA, UWE UK, and University of South Brittany France. Dr. Arshad has also served as Member of the International Advisory Board of the “International ICFA Workshop on HEP Networking, Grids, and Digital Divide Issues for Global e-Science”.
